Installation Technician

SUMMARY:

The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, preparing, installing, maintaining, and servicing video gaming equipment owned/operated by the Company and located in contracted establishments, as well as assisting in other areas as needed.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Assists in the installation of Video Gaming Terminal equipment at various customer locations.
* Maintenance of accurate records and paperwork and communication of all data on customer sites.
* Troubleshoots gaming devices and repair as needed
* Completes all necessary documentation for device entry and logs
* Ensures compliance with all Illinois Gaming Board regulations
* Delivers product from company location to customer locations
* Communicates with call center to efficiently manage installations
* Manages inventory of the installation truck to ensure parts are available when repairs are needed
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

* Basic mechanical and electrical skills.
* Ability to complete basic electrical tasks including work with high and low voltage electrical.
* Be knowledgeable of Illinois Gaming Board regulations and how these standards apply to the Service and Installation personnel.
* Ability to read, understand and follow documentation.
* Minimum of 21 years of age
* Ability to obtain and/or maintain a Terminal Handler's License from the Illinois Gaming Board

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

* Frequently required to stand
* Frequently required to walk
* Frequently required to sit
* Frequently required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
* Frequently required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
* Frequently required to lift/push weights up to 300 pounds with assistance of an appliance dolly
* Frequently required to lift/push up to 1100 pounds with assistance from teammate and an appliance dolly
* Frequently required to maneuver into crawl spaces and attics
* Frequently required to climb ladder up to sixteen (16) feet
* Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl
* Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral, depth, and ability to adjust or focus
* Exposure to wet and/or humid conditions
* Exposure to outside weather conditions
* Protective clothing or equipment is required that may include gloves, helmets, steel-toed boots, or protective eyewear
* The noise level in the work environment usually is moderate
