With capacity for 12 children, this program produces the highest quality treatment outcomes through a combination of expert programming, specially trained caregivers and the individual potential of each patient. It is a cutting edge research center for autism and also houses the first playground in Maine created specifically for children with developmental disorders.
Position Highlights:
* Sign-on bonus: Up to $10,000, amount prorated for part-time
* Base hourly rate: $19.92, shift differentials available

What you will do:
* Develop a working knowing of therapeutic interventions and interactions for common diagnosis of population served.
* Implement the behavioral plan developed specifically for the developmentally challenged patient in accordance with Doctor's orders
* Assist patients with Daily Living Skills (ADLs) as directed by an RN
Responsibilities
* Perform checks and document on patient's record in accordance with hospital policies
* Work with the treatment team in the collection of pertinent data to assist in the development of individualized behavioral plans
* Implement sensory schedules as indicated by behavioral plan
* Observe and respond to codes and follow code leader's direction
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) - "What you will need":
* Education: High School diploma preferred. Bachelor's degree in Psychology preferred.
* License/Certifications: N/A
* Experience: 1+ years of experience and/or coursework in a social services related field required.
