Our client is a leading global player in the energy and commodities sector, committed to delivering innovative solutions and maintaining the highest standards of integrity and performance. Responsibilities: Coordinate monthly closing with offshore accounting team, review and post accrual entries in compliance with IFRS principles. Provide guidance and assistance throughout the closing process. Assist in preparation of consolidated management reporting package. Perform detailed account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of general ledger balances. Maintain proper financial records. Record and track management fees and follow up on outstanding invoices. Coordinate with external auditors during interim and year-end audits, providing required documentation and detailed information. Develop and maintain internal financial reporting processes, ensuring strong internal controls and compliance. Mentor junior analyst and provide technical accounting guidance as needed. Be proactive in improving workflow, processes, policies, account analyses, and distribution of relevant information. Assist with implementation of new systems and processes. Respond to ad-hoc requests and inquiries; assist with special projects as needed. Desired Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 5+ years of accounting experience in trading companies or investment banks.
