R. Stresau Laboratory, Inc. located in northwestern Wisconsin is looking for an experienced Accounting Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, along with excellent leadership skills to manage a team effectively. *Nature of Duties:*
* Managing, training, and supervising team members in processing payroll, and internal controls related to Financial Reporting, Labor Accounting, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Project Accounting and Invoicing, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Tax Compliance.
* Preparing timely and accurate financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting.
* Ensuring payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner along with all payroll reporting requirements.
* Ensuring that Accounts Payable are reviewed, approved, properly accounted for, and paid in a timely manner.
* Managing the company s project accounting processes and ensuring that customer contract costs are properly accounted for, billed, and Accounts Receivable are collected according to payment terms.
* Ensuring accounting processes are compliant with US Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
* Managing banking operations and internal controls over writing checks and approving wire transfers.
* Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
* Identify and implement accounting systems continuous improvement plans.
* Working with the outside CPA to file accurate and timely tax returns.
* Preparing and filing timely returns
* Managing and maintaining accurate files in support of Accounting Manager functional responsibilities.
* Providing ad hoc financial reports or related support as needed.
* Superior analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
* Excellent communication skills, exudes attention to detail and confidentiality.

*Education:*

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 3 or more years of experience as an Accounting Manager for a company that provides services in manufacturing or similar education and experience.

*Experience:*
* Sage 100 / ECI Max/ ADP Payroll experience a plus.
* Experience and knowledge of integrated ERP systems desired.
* Ability to meet aggressive program deliverables.
* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office.
* Advanced skills in MS Excel are a plus, including creating formulas and pivot tables.
