The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a solid case load, drafting motions, conducting depositions, negotiating settlements, and providing superior customer service to our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned attorney who is passionate about consumer advocacy and is looking to take their career to the next level. Responsibilities: Manage all phases of litigation from initiation to disposition of the case, including pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal. Conduct thorough and detailed legal research to support case strategy. Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements. Conduct and defend depositions, including expert witness depositions. Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in civil litigation. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to avoid court proceedings. Provide legal advice to clients, making recommendations based on sound legal arguments and strategies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, legal codes, court procedures, precedents, government regulations, executive orders, agency rules, and the democratic political process. Develop relationships with clients and work diligently to ensure client satisfaction. Collaborate with legal team members to ensure a cohesive and organized approach to case management.Qualifications: Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Must be an active member in good standing with the California bar. Minimum of 2 years of experience as a litigation attorney, ideally with a focus on Lemon Law, but can consider other litigation experience, such as insurance defense. Proven track record of managing a large caseload, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines. Strong experience in conducting and defending depositions. Excellent legal research and writing skills. Proficiency in drafting and negotiating legal documents. Extensive experience in commercial litigation. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to provide superior customer service. Must be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while also collaborating with team members. Ability to analyze complex legal issues, develop effective strategies, and advocate for clients. High ethical standards and professional integrity.
