Location Hybrid position based in Los Angeles, CA. Most weeks you will work four days in the office and one day remotely, giving you the benefits of in-person collaboration with the flexibility of a weekly work-from-home day. Note To qualify, you must have 3+ years of commercial litigation experience, be admitted to the California Bar, and have a law school GPA of at least 3.0. A law school transcript and writing sample are required for interview. Job Description Represent sophisticated business and individual clients in complex commercial litigation matters.Handle cases involving breach of contract, tortious interference, breach of fiduciary duty, and other business torts.Draft high-quality pleadings, motions, discovery, and trial briefs with strategic insight and meticulous attention to detail.Take and defend depositions of parties, fact witnesses, and experts.Argue motions and appear in court for hearings, conferences, and mediations.Assist partners with overall case strategy, factual development, and trial preparation.Communicate regularly with clients and colleagues, managing day-to-day case responsibilities and deadlines.Collaborate with other practice groups as needed, with opportunities to touch related areas such as intellectual property litigation. Qualifications JD from an accredited law school with a 3.0+ GPA.Admission to the California Bar in good standing.3+ years of civil litigation experience at a reputable law firm.Solid commercial litigation background, including contract and business tort matters.Prior experience arguing motions and taking or defending depositions is strongly preferred.Exceptional legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong verbal communication skills and a collaborative, professional demeanor.Intellectual property litigation experience is a plus but not required.
