*POSITION*: Substance Abuse Therapist

*LOCATION*: Paducah, KY

*QUALIFICATIONS*:
* Must have at least a bachelor's degree in a human services related field (psychology, sociology, social work, etc. required)
* TCADC, CADC LCADC, LCADC, LPCC, LPCA, LCSW, CSW, or LPA licensure (preferred but not required)
* experience in substance abuse counseling and residential treatment (preferred but not required.)

*RESPONSIBILITIES AND TRAINING:*
* provide group, individual, and family therapy sessions
* determine appropriate treatment interventions for each patient
* collaborate with each patient on a treatment plan
* help patients set and achieve their personal goals
* maintain records and provide documentation according to Stepworks policies
* develop continuing care plans
* serve as the first point of contact for patients’ behavioral issues
* participate in four hours of supervision monthly
* be prepared for crisis intervention, first aid, CPR (training provided)

*SHIFT*: Monday - Friday
