[TITLE]: Security Analyst

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled Security Analyst to join their team

The Security Analyst plays a crucial role in ensuring the protection of the organization's information systems from potential security threats. They are responsible for identifying, analyzing, and responding to security incidents, as well as implementing security measures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Threat Identification and Analysis: Continuously monitor networks and systems for security breaches or intrusions. Identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, analyzing their impact on organizational security.
Security Measures Implementation: Develop and implement protective measures to prevent unauthorized access, modification, or destruction of information. This includes deploying firewalls, encryption, and other security tools.
Incident Response: Lead the response to security incidents, from initial assessment to containment, eradication, and recovery. Document incidents thoroughly to facilitate future prevention efforts.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCIE Security, or CEH are highly desirable.
Proven experience in information security or a related field, with a strong understanding of security methodologies, processes, and technical solutions.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Familiarity with key technologies such as SIEM (Splunk, Azure Sentinel, LogRhythm), Cisco Security Suite, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with Linux systems (Debian-based) and Windows Server 2019.
Knowledge of web security technologies like Cloudflare and GoDaddy, along with an understanding of public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic protocols (SSL/TLS).
