We’re seeking a skilled Technical Account Manager with a strong background in low-voltage security and communications to support our growing team and ensure our customers receive exceptional service.While professional experience and qualifications are key for this role, make sure to check you have the preferable soft skills before applying if required.If you are passionate about IP camera systems, access control, structured cabling, and security-focused network infrastructure, and want to work with a collaborative, future-focused team—we’d love to meet you.Position Summary:The Technical Account Manager will support Windemuller’s low voltage, communications, and security technology offerings, ensuring our solutions remain innovative, reliable, and aligned with customer needs. This role blends technical expertise with client relationship management and plays a key part in expanding our security and communications capabilities.You’ll collaborate with our Communications and Technical Services teams to strengthen processes, evaluate new technologies, and drive excellence across our security and low voltage projects.Reports to: Senior Manager of CommunicationsKey Responsibilities:Evaluate and enhance Windemuller’s low voltage and security service offerings, including structured cabling, IP video systems, and access control.Manage and develop vendor and manufacturer partnerships for security and communications solutions.Collaborate with technical teams to create standardized procedures and best practices for low voltage installations.Research and recommend emerging video management systems (VMS), access control platforms, and low voltage communications technologies.Develop and implement training programs and technical documentation for field and support staff.Support sales teams with customer presentations, system demos, estimating, and project planning.Serve as project and account manager for key low voltage/security clients.Maintain high customer satisfaction through clear communication and reliable service.Coordinate manpower, materials, and schedules for assigned projects.Maintain a safe working environment and ensure OSHA and company safety standards are followed.Participate in on-call rotation as needed. xhuatnn Qualifications:Education & TrainingRequired: High School Diploma or GEDPreferred: Certifications or training in Low Voltage Communications, Access Control, Intrusion Detection, or Video Management SystemsExperience & Technical Skills:8+ years of experience in low voltage systems, communications, security integration, or related technical fieldsStrong background in:Structured cabling and low voltage installationIP camera systems and VMS platformsAccess control systemsNetwork fundamentals as they relate to security devicesExperience with project management, estimating, system commissioning, and end-user trainingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagramsExcellent problem-solving and client communication skillsAbility to work both independently and collaborativelyPhysical & Work Requirements:Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb, bend, stoop, and handle materialsVisual and auditory acuity with the ability to distinguish color codesWork in indoor and outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)Must provide and maintain personal hand toolsPPE required at all timesFull-time, 40 hours per week, with overtime or occasional night work as requiredPerformance Expectations:Complete work safely, efficiently, and accuratelyMaintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal teamsDemonstrate continuous learning and adaptability in low voltage/security technologiesFollow all Windemuller policies, safety standards, and core valuesWhy Join Windemuller?Competitive pay and comprehensive benefitsCareer growth with support for certifications and technical trainingEmployee-centered culture with a strong safety focusOpportunity to be part of a respected leader in communications and security solutionsEEO/M/F/Disabled/Vet
