HR Specialist Location: Allen, TX | Onsite Compensation & Schedule • $25/hour • Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM ROLE IMPACT: Join a collaborative and fast-paced organization where you’ll support the full scope of HR functions. As an HR Specialist, you will assist with recruitment, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and recordkeeping—serving as a trusted resource for employees while ensuring the organization maintains strong HR processes and legal compliance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, and new-hire onboarding • Maintain accurate employee records and process updates in the HRIS system • Assist with administering employee benefits, leave programs, and company policies • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions, escalating issues as needed • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws • Support performance management and employee engagement initiatives • Coordinate training sessions, assist with HR reporting, and participate in special projects MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field • 2+ years of experience in HR or an administrative role with exposure to HR functions • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and compliance requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using HRIS systems • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally CORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS • HRIS platforms (such as UKG, ADP, or Workday) • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Digital onboarding tools • Document management and compliance systems PREFERRED SKILLS • Experience with multi-state employment laws • HR certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP) • Experience improving or implementing HR processes By applying for this job, you agree to receive calls, AI-generated calls, text messages, or emails from CornerStone and its affiliates, and contracted partners.
