Electrical Construction Project Manager

*Summary*The information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.As an Electrical Commercial Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Reporting to the general manager, you will utilize your core skills in project scheduling and construction management. Your electrical experience and understanding of standards will be vital in coordinating with teams and managing contracts. Join us to lead innovative projects while fostering a collaborative work environment.*Job Duties:*· Manage a number of projects throughout the calendar year, determined based on the revenue amount and timeline of the project(s).· Work collaboratively with other PMs and site foremen to coordinate manpower, materials, and other equipment for various projects.· Manage job costing for all assigned projects.· Maintain job forecasting for assigned projects.· Pre-Construction Coordination and attend meetings as needed.· Selection of Vendors for material purchasing and order materials, as needed, throughout project.· Selection of Subcontractors, if applicable.· Provide and review all required submittals for each assigned project.· Determine appropriate manpower for project and keep schedule up to date on weekly basis.· Coordinate and provide updates to project schedule, as needed, to General Contractor on weekly basis.· Attend project meetings throughout project, as needed.· Work with project foreman and crew to meet project milestones and make sure project is meeting schedule.· Monitor project progress by conducting weekly site visits.· Draft monthly payment applications for assigned projects and provide lien waivers.· Coordinate punch list walk-throughs and complete items as needed.· Provide project closeout documentation and as-built drawings.*Qualifications, Skills, and Requirements:*· State of WI Journeyman or Master Electrician License preferred.· Communicate effectively with others, including communication via email and phone.· Work collaboratively in a team environment and have a positive attitude.· Must have previous experience using Microsoft Office.· Proficient typing ability is required.· Valid State of WI driver’s license is required.· Ability to understand and read blueprints and specifications.· Knowledge of construction industry and/or electrical trades is preferred.*Salary and Benefits:*· Starting Salary of $90,000/year (negotiable based on experience)· Paid weekly by direct deposit· Company vehicle, credit card, and gas card· Paid Time off after 90 days: 40 hours (1 week) of PTO after 90 days, 40 hours (1 week) of PTO issued on the 1-year anniversary of employment. 80 hours (two weeks) of PTO will be issued each year on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year anniversaries of employment. 120 hours (3 weeks) of PTO will be issued on the 5th year anniversary of employment and all subsequent years to follow.· Six (6) Paid holidays· One (1) Paid Birthday Holiday – taken on a Friday or Monday around your Birthday· Annual Golf Outing / Paid “team building” event· 401k – 7% employer matching.· Bi-annual discretionary bonusing· $150/yr professional development benefit for CEU classes or other trainings· Quartz health insurance - Partially funded for employees and dependents· Dental insurance - Partially funded for employees and dependents· Life insurance - Fully funded for employees*Travel:*· Generally speaking, no extensive travel is required to most jobsites.· Most of our large contract work is within Dane County.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $90,000.00 per yearBenefits:* 401(k)* 401(k) matching* Dental insurance* Health insurance* Life insurance* Paid time off* Professional development assistance* Tuition reimbursementLicense/Certification:* Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician (Preferred)Security clearance:* Confidential (Preferred)Ability to Commute:* Verona, WI 53593 (Required)Ability to Relocate:* Verona, WI 53593: Relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
