Project Manager Commercial Construction

About the Opportunity:
We’re partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor in the Madison region that continues to expand its footprint across Wisconsin and the Midwest. The company is seeking a skilled Project Manager to join its growing team and oversee ground-up and large-scale commercial construction projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced construction professional who values teamwork, integrity, and building long-term relationships while managing high-quality commercial projects from start to finish.
Responsibilities:
- Lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Oversee budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and project documentation.
- Manage client relationships and ensure clear communication between owners, design teams, and field staff.
- Collaborate with estimating, preconstruction, and field teams to maintain project efficiency and quality standards.
- Ensure safety, compliance, and quality throughout all phases of construction.
- 7+ years of experience managing commercial construction projects (ground-up, healthcare, education, mixed-use, industrial, or municipal preferred).
- Proven background working with a commercial general contractor.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
