As our nationwide growth accelerates, Lighthouse Studio, West Shore Home’s Digital Product Development team, plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home® by taking accountability over the inception and execution of ideas that will revolutionize the home remodeling industry.

As a Technical Lead/Lead Developer, you will contribute to this mission by providing software development expertise and guidance, strategic technical direction, foster transparency, and engagement, and ensures successful cross-team communication and collaboration.

You will report directly to our Director of Software Development, oversee a team of Developers, and work closely with product managers and other teams.

What You’ll Contribute

In this role, you can expect to:

• Contribute as a developer within a collaborative and tight-knit cross functional team using Scrum methodology.

• Provide software development expertise and guidance for up to four Developers with diverse backgrounds and skills.

• Balance fluctuating commitments to product contributions in code and people management.
• Propose and own innovative contributions across the product lifecycle.
• Support the professional development of direct reports.

• Collaborate with the developer leadership team to cultivate an environment where people and products thrive.

• Work as a developer within a collaborative and tight-knit cross functional team using Scrum methodology

• Design, implement, refactor, and improve our applications by bringing features to life.
