You’ll touch medical-malpractice and catastrophic-injury cases.Work in a focused, no-nonsense environment; your role has clear importance to case strategy.Nashville downtown office (or hybrid model — discuss with the team).Flexible hours relative to standard law-firm grind: since you’ll be tasked with a defined body of work (medical-record organization) you’ll have control of your workflow.An opportunity to build or highlight your niche in medical records for plaintiff litigation — good credential for future roles.Job DetailsOrganize, label, code and prepare medical records for active personal injury and medical-malpractice cases.Review complex medical-record sets (hospital charts, operative reports, ER records, imaging, nursing logs) and extract key documents, timelines and issues.Create summaries/timelines of medical-record events for attorney review.Coordinate with litigation team to ensure records are produced, indexed, accessible (for depositions/trials).Assist with creation of chronologies, witness lists, and document-binders where needed.Ensure medical-records workflow stays on schedule and meets internal deadlines.Must have prior experience in medical-malpractice and/or serious personal-injury litigation (not just general civil litigation).Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, self-starter mentality and ability to handle high-volume medical documentation.Proficiency with document-management systems, e-discovery platforms or litigation support tools a plus.Interested in hearing more?
