About the PositionWe are seeking an experienced Mass Tort Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized professional with strong attention to detail and experience supporting attorneys in complex litigation matters. This position requires prior experience in the legal field, as our office does not offer entry-level training for this role.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist attorneys with drafting and formatting legal documents, including Complaints, Discovery, Motions, and SubpoenasDraft, proofread, and edit legal documents for accuracy and clarityCoordinate and e-file pleadings and other filings in State and Federal courtsMaintain familiarity with PACER, CM/ECF, and Federal civil procedureOversee service of process and track completionUtilize document management systems (Filevine) to organize and maintain electronic case filesRequest, organize, and summarize medical recordsPrepare and review correspondence with clients, courts, and opposing counselAnswer phone calls and take messages with professional etiquetteProvide administrative support such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organizing filesPerform clerical tasks including photocopying, scanning, faxing, and data entryQualificationsMinimum 4+ years of experience as a paralegal; mass tort or personal injury experience strongly preferredCollege degree or associate degree preferredIf no degree, must have a paralegal certificate or equivalent relevant experienceProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Experience with document management systems and file organizationStrong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlinesExcellent written and verbal communication abilitiesExceptional attention to detail in proofreading and editingAbility to maintain confidentiality of sensitive informationWhy Join UsWe offer a professional, team-oriented environment with competitive compensation and benefits.
