Munninghoff, Lange & Co., a growing and dynamic CPA firm, is seeking a motivated and experienced Tax/Accounting Manager looking for either a full or part-time position. In this role, you will take charge of maintaining relationships with a diverse client base, while managing and mentoring a team of professionals. You'll oversee the preparation of tax returns and accounting services for clients from a variety of industries, providing valuable insights and ensuring the highest standards of quality.

*Primary Responsibilities*

 Review and approve various types of tax returns with a focus on accuracy and compliance

 Conduct in‐depth technical research on complex tax issues

 Manage the preparation, review, and timely submission of tax returns to meet critical deadlines

 Provide solutions to complex tax challenges and stay current with tax laws and regulations

 Mentor and assist in the training of junior staff members

 Collaborate with internal teams and client decision‐makers to resolve issues effectively

 Manage staff workloads, offering feedback and support to foster growth and development

 Participate in client meetings and contribute to tax planning initiatives

 Prepare necessary adjustments for tax return preparation

 Assist clients with financial statement close processes and other accounting‐related projects

*Qualifications*

 Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

 Minimum of 7 years of tax experience, preferably in public accounting

 CPA or Enrolled Agent certification (preferred)

 Proficiency in QuickBooks and tax preparation software

 Competence with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

 Strong technical knowledge and the ability to solve complex tax matters

 Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team‐oriented environment
