The Applications Support Specialist will support all business applications while working with employees to troubleshoot and solve issues and provide help and training where needed. In addition, the Applications Support Specialist will perform daily tasks required to run current business applications effectively. This is an onsite role in Sanford, FL. Remote work option is not available for this position.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Perform daily tasks required to properly run our current business applications, including troubleshooting, processing steps manually, and performing quality control checks.
Troubleshoot issues experienced by our employees with business applications, including bidding, estimating, pricing, job setup, purchasing, warehouse management, inventory management, job costing, billing, payroll, and accounting.
Supporting clients via tickets, email, chat, and telephone.
Log details of all support sessions and client challenges in our ticketing system.
Rely on interpersonal skills and product knowledge to diagnose, test, and resolve client software challenges.
Use and create knowledgebase articles in line with best practices based on new product information, support incidents and/or common / critical issues.
Meet / exceed departmental goals on case management, response time and customer satisfaction scores.
Active participation in team and departmental meetings by providing feedback on day-to-day activities.
At all times maintain a high degree of professionalism.

Required Skills/Abilities:
Organized with attention to detail.
Excellent analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of key business processes in a construction company.
Intermediate/advanced Use of Microsoft Programs: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
Self-motivated with willingness to learn and self-develop.
Basic understanding of VBA/Excel macros.
Ability to work independently.
Strong customer service orientation.
Basic understanding of SQL a plus.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business preferred.
3+ years of experience as a Functional Support Specialist required.
Bilingual, English, and Spanish preferred.

Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
