*Join us as a Payroll Associate*
The Payroll Associate is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees. This role involves handling sensitive financial data, maintaining payroll records, and providing support in resolving payroll-related issues. The Payroll Associate must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess strong communication skills to liaise effectively with staff, caregivers, and management.
*Some of your key responsibilities include:*
* Accurately process payroll on aweekly basis, including calculating hours, overtime, and deductions.
* Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
* Verify timesheets and ensure proper documentation for all hours worked.
* Process direct deposits and issue payroll checks as required.
* Maintain and update employee payroll records in the payroll system.
* Enter new hires, terminations, and changes to employee information into the payroll system.
* Ensure all payroll data is accurate and up-to-date, including tax withholdings and benefit deductions.
* Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and external agencies as needed.
* Ensure payroll practices comply with company policies and government regulations.
* Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and benefits.
* Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
* Provide support for year-end activities, including W-2 processing and distribution.
* Assist the HR and finance departments with various administrative tasks as needed.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
*Qualifications:*
* Bilingual in English , Madarin or Cantonese
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
