Job Title: Director of Client Relations

Location: Columbus, OH

Caregiver, Inc. is a leading Texas-based provider of services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) that supports clients with the design, delivery, and management or personalized treatment plans in order to help them lead their best lives. We are looking for a Director of Client Relations to join our team

Position Summary

The Director of Client Relations is responsible for cultivating positive client relations, including managing relationships with current clients, and identifying opportunities to attract new ones, and developing and implementing processes and strategies to improve client retention within the assigned region/state. It is expected for the candidate to devote four (4) days a week to be in the field.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interface with the state placement authority for placement, Department of Developmental Disabilities, Independent Case Managers and other stakeholders regarding referrals and placement.
  • Review referral packets and call to gather information/set up visits-referral process management.
  • Coordinate and facilitate communications amongst agency employees regarding census management.
  • Facilitate transition and admission documentation and activities.
  • Visit and assess potential clients for appropriateness of placement statewide.
  • Create client training/risk plans/MAR for overnight visits.
  • Support the creation and implementation of agency record keeping for new clients (i.e. - TMP profile, SharePoint chart, etc.).
  • Coordinate completion and submission of Budget Modification Requests.
  • Initiate, coordinate and engage in client and stakeholder satisfaction activities to include meetings and events.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on strategic planning and growth.
  • Assure that DODDs standards are implemented related to client and stakeholder satisfaction, communication, and team interactions.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives related to placement of new clients.
  • Maintains regular attendance and timeliness in assigned duties.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Supervisor Responsibilities
  • Responsible for employment actions in respective area including, but not limited to, interviewing, hiring, disciplining, rewarding, evaluating, and terminating of employees.
  • Ensures compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to work with CRM software.
Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, nursing, or related human services area and/or minimum of five years of work experience in IDD required.
