These employee-led groups allow employees to come together to explore common interests and foster a diverse and inclusive workplaceAccess to best-in-class resources, tools, and technologyWhat You Will Do: Support and engage in our vision of improving lives Live and be an example of Quartzdyne's core values: Respect, Grit, Transparency, Honesty, Humility and Accountability Be a disciple and leader of continuous improvementPosition Details: Develop, evaluate, and enhance manufacturing methods, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards Leverage and implement lean/continuous improvement principles and tools in everyday work to solve problems and improve the worksite Support the company's goals of quality, performance, and delivery Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flow diagrams, and standard operating proceduresMaintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actionsImprove production rates, efficiencies, yields, and changeovers Identify, develop and deliver innovative solutionsAnalyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for improvementWorks closely with production team and other engineering teams Driven to constantly improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards Involved in design reviews where critical thinking is required Willing to work overtime when required Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field2 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering roleImmigration sponsorship not offered for this rolePhysical Demands: Normal working conditions absent extreme factors Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and fellow employees Must be able to lift up to 45lbs periodicallyRole is deemed safety-sensitive and may be subject to employer or customer drug testingPreferred Qualifications: Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and systems, including machining, assembly, and testingExperience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or KaizenStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD)Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with coworkers and internal customers both verbally and in writing Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team Excellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong understanding of Statistical Process Control/Six Sigma Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) Skills using Microsoft Navision Dynamics and SolidWorks ePDMAbout ChampionX ChampionX is a global leader in providing chemistry programs and services, drilling technology, artificial lift solutions, and automation technologies for the upstream and midstream oil and gas industry.
