Part-time Media and Public Relations Specialist

Links Global, based in the DC Metro Area, is recruiting talented media and public relations specialists to support a variety of client communication needs including:
- Public relations and media outreach
- Writing and editing strategy, media releases, articles, and other information
- Coordinating activities and events
- Providing training
- Communication planning
- Media monitoring and reporting
- Media production, radio/TV/social media
- Digital media strategy and content development
- Client strategy consultation
- Progress assessment and reporting
- B.S. in communication or related field
- 5+years of experience working in public relations
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Skllled at strategy development
- Skilled in providing consultation to clients and leading meetings
- Excellent presentation skills in-person and on-line
- Organized and able to use a variety of business software such as MS Office
- Self-motivated and also team player abilities
- Experienced in monthly reporting and capturing metrics
- Skilled at working with media editing software for photography and videography and presentation software such as PowerPoint and other
- Experience working with government institutions
