Job Description: Seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer specializing in the design of mechanical systems for Data Centers and Mission Critical Facilities.Design and develop mechanical systems for Data Center Facilities, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and compliance with mission-critical requirements.Utilize AutoCAD and potentially Revit for effective design and documentationApply diversified knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices to a variety of assignments in related fields.•Make informed and independent decisions regarding engineering methods and techniquesConsult with supervisors on critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters, seeking guidanceDevelop test procedures and provide support during the commissioning of mechanical systems.Provide engineering solutions that incorporate life cycle cost analysis and energy efficiency considerations.Evaluate existing facilities and systems respective to the as-built conditions which affect the designNormal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am - 5 pm.Travel to project job sites is expected. Qualifications :Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college required.Minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the field of Data Center FacilitiesProficiency in AutoCAD 2D design is essential, and experience with Revit design is a plus.Registration as a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) is usually required for this position.Possess a solid background in designing systems such as Cooling Towers, Chillers, Glycol Systems, Air Cooled Systems, In Row Cooling/Rear Door Heat Exchange, and other Mission Critical equipment, incorporating reliability and efficiency into their designsExtensive experience in designing mechanical systems for Data Center FacilitiesStrong knowledge of Cooling Towers, Chillers, Glycol Systems, Air Cooled Systems, In Row Cooling/Rear Door Heat Exchange, and other Mission Critical equipment.Ability to integrate reliability and efficiency into mechanical system designs.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to apply engineering principles to diverse assignments.Ability to effectively communicate technical solutions to diverse audiences both orally and in writing.Experience with advanced techniques and the ability to modify and extend theories, precepts, and practices in the field.Capability to develop test procedures and support the commissioning of mechanical systems.Mission Critical Design Engineering experience is required.
