- Negotiations: Conduct pricing negotiations with suppliers to achieve the best value for TPS while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Budget Adherence: Monitor and control procurement costs to ensure that purchasing activities remain within budget constraints.
Compliance & Risk Management:
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, including safety standards and environmental guidelines.
- Quality Assurance: Work with the quality assurance team to ensure that all procured materials meet TPSs product standards and specifications.
Minimum Qualifications:

- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the procurement of materials and components used in electrical power distribution systems, including switchgear and control panels.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: APICS (CPIM), ISM (CPSM), or similar certifications in procurement or supply chain management is a plus.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, effectively managing personnel and contributing to departmental goals.
