Wieland is hiring a Electrical Engineer. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible to specify and implement automation, operator interfaces, and safety systems in support of manufacturing operations. Proficiency with legacy and cutting-edge technologies to ensure that the Company is leveraging the most effective platforms for increased productivity, safety, and profitability. This role is located in Shelbyville, KY and will be fully on-site.
Responsibilities:Electrical Engineer Responsibilities:
Can lead electrical projects in a manufacturing environment including project scope, schedules, budgets, vendor management, etc.
Support engineering project teams on specification, design, preparation, and installation of electrical power, machine control, PLC, and SCADA for new projects in the manufacturing facility.
Support operations and maintenance teams with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting of electrical power, machine control, and other PLC and programming systems.
Create documentation such as user manuals, programming diagrams, network diagrams, and electrical drawings.
Maintain data acquisition, monitoring, and reporting solutions.

Act as liaison for Manufacturing and IT for critical infrastructure and processes.
Electrical Engineer Qualifications:
1-5 years related job experience
Engineering degree or equivalent experience required
Must have knowledge of PLCs and HMIs
Must have knowledge of VFD drives
Microsoft SQL and database management knowledge is preferred
Auto CAD experience preferred.
Experience with Allen Bradley PLC or Siemens such as TIA portal and SINAMICS is a plus
