SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER

This position earns an annual salary starting from $110,000 based on experience. Part of your employment offer is that Store Space will cover 100% of the premium for your health benefits under [Plan 1] or [Plan 2], and a portion of the premium for [Plan 3]. If you choose [Plan 3], or if you elect to add dependents to any plan, you will be responsible for the additional costs. Store Space offers employer-paid life insurance. We also offer 401(k) with company match. Additionally, you will be eligible for uncapped PTO (with approval) after 60 days of employment.

As the Senior Accounting Manager, you will lead and direct all financial reporting and analyses to meet assigned deadlines with accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER
  • 5+ years of general accounting experience
  • BS/BA degree in accounting
  • CPA license (Strongly Preferred)
  • 3+ years of direct supervisor experience
  • ERP software experience required (Great Plains preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with Office Suite
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
  • Perform general ledger accounting functions
  • Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Supervise quarterly and year-end financial audit activities
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
  • Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end


Familiarity with commercial real estate, construction/development, or multi-family/multi-unit accounting is a plus but not required. You should be skilled in navigating organizational dynamics, resourceful, and passionate about building effective teams.

WORK SCHEDULE

This position is full-time and onsite daily. Our typical office hours are between 8:30am - 6:00pm.
