Job Description:Kreshmore is seeking an innovative and problem-solving business development professional to help build our outbound marketing team. Over the last 15 years, our company has successfully built a tremendous reputation across our practice disciplines and has grown exclusively through word-of-mouth and inbound marketing. In order to capitalize on our impressive track record, we seek to build a business development engine that leverages our successful history in order to broaden outreach and scale the enterprise.

This position will consist of assisting in the implementation and coordination of the company-wide business development call program with the goal of expanding company relationships and improving lead generation for investment banking activities.

We plan to achieve this by doing the following:
  • Curating a list of target companies (“potential clients”) or people of influence.
  • Cold call potential clients in order to generate new business and meet sales targets.
  • Establish contact and form relationships with potential clients and people of influence (collectively “Pipeline”) in order to create a potential business relationship.
  • Understand and articulate Kreshmore’s various business lines in order to effectively explain and sell our services.
  • Convert pipeline into meetings for managing director team.
  • Create and automate touch points in order to foster the Pipeline.
  • Engage Managing Director once lead is ready to discuss a potential business opportunity.
  • Document calls and results, make reports to management as required.

The candidate should be a results driven and detailed oriented individual who can connect with successful entrepreneurs and professionals. They should be able to develop a proprietary network and pipeline and nurture that pipeline in a thoughtful and meticulous way. This position will be required to learn the basic business lines offered at Kreshmore Group in order to explain them at a high-level to potential prospects. The Business Development Representative I position will require the candidate to spend most of the day making calls to potential business relationships. This position requires that the candidate be in the office.

Compensation Package:
  • Base Salary plus performance-based compensation package.

Qualifications:
Experience & Education:
  • Undergraduate degree from reputable institution.
  • 1-3 years of professional experience, preferably in a sales role.
  • Strong conversational and interpersonal skills.
  • Background or experience in the financial services sector.
  • Ability to converse and build rapport with professionals and executives.
  • Background and experience in effectively utilizing CRMs.
  • Customer / client orientation.
  • Originality.
  • Perform work under direct supervision.
  • Handle basic issues and problems.
  • Refer complex problems to higher-level staff.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to execute on a long-term strategic outreach campaign.
  • Strict adherence to deadlines.
  • Must be a hard worker and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to create and follow a speaking script for cold calls.
