Village Park Apartments is located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois is managed by B & A Property Group, based here in the Greater Chicago Land area; is looking for an individual who is interested in advancing their career in property management. This individual must have excellent organizational and people skills as well as a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel to join our leasing team.

SUMMARY: 
Leasing Consultants are tasked with effectively marketing the property and maintaining high occupancy of qualified residents. They are the first impression of the property and must present a high level of professionalism.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills;
  • Must have proven customer service and/or sales experience (leasing preferred but not required);
  • Must be very organized, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated;
  • Knowledge of basic math, and general office technology skills preferred;
  • Must be able to work in a fast paced working environment;
  • Must be able to work with little or no supervision;
  • Must be able to work weekends.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Provide excellent service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers;
  • Conduct building tours for prospective residents and input traffic into software daily;
  • Lease apartments in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by management;
  • Accurately enter new lease information into computer system;
  • Prepare, maintain, and manage new and existing lease files;
  • Assist in move-in / move-out process;
  • Receive and enter resident service requests;
  • Assist with resident programs and retention strategies;
  • Assist property manager and co-workers in the management and operations of the property;
  • Maintain confidentiality in all job responsibilities as it pertains to staff and tenants;
  • Follow policies and procedures while complying with Fair Housing, state and federal laws.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour

  • Sales: 1 year (Required);
