Game Night Promo Staff

POSITION PURPOSE:The Promo Staff is responsible for engaging with guests and ensuring a fun experience at all Hartford Wolf Pack games. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist in events and promotional activities to grow the Wolf Pack fan base.
  • Engage prospective and current Wolf Pack fans in a professional and positive manner through various promotions, events, and marketing efforts.
  • Increase awareness, interest, and fan support for the Wolf Pack through the distribution of promotional materials.
  • Assist in generating brand awareness for the Wolf Pack at a variety of local events and activities.
  • Provide full operational support (set-up/tear-down) of all promotional materials including tents, tables, etc.
  • Work on Game Nights/Days to assist Sr. Manager of Game Presentation with various responsibilities (set-up arena, find contestants for games, organize for, and execute in-game promotions).
 SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY:
  • The Game Operations/Promotions staff must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he/she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using a combination of skills and abilities.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Excellent communication skills required with thorough understanding of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to skate on ice preferred but not required.
  • Ability to traverse a variety of terrain and floor surfaces including stairs, escalators, carpet, concrete, ice.
  • Ability to work in heights, in darkened area, around crowds, loud noise and flashing lights.
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in fast-paced environment and stressful situations.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Salary: $15.69/hour. (part-time)
