Key responsibilities of the Staff Accountant

  • Assit with month end close: journal entries, reconciliation, inventory, etc.
  • Daily monitoring of inventory transactions within the general ledger.
  • Accounts payable: process invoices, match, etc.
  • AR: applying cash receipts.
  • Variance analysis
  • Additional responsibilities as being cross trained in various areas.

Qualifications of the Staff Accountant

  • BS Accounting/Finance
  • 2 years general ledger accounting experience with a good overall foundation.
  • Proficient in Excel
