Position Information:
  • Work location: Hartford, CT
  • Full-time position: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

The Gaming Compliance Investigator will directly report to the Director and Assistant Director of the Gaming Division, assisting in various programmatic initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Conducting inquiries into licensee complaints alongside division criminal investigators
  • Compiling investigative reports for legal proceedings
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders, including industry representatives and the public
  • Performing specialized investigations, such as tracing contacts and identifying irregularities
  • Supporting the Sports Wagering & Online Gaming Unit with ongoing inquiries
  • Examining violations of licensing agreements and regulatory breaches
  • Collecting and analyzing evidence and information
  • Coordinating with gaming industry stakeholders
  • Undertaking additional tasks as assigned by leadership
About the Gaming Division:

The DCP Gaming Division oversees the regulation of legal gambling activities in Connecticut, including casinos, lotteries, and sports wagering. This is achieved through a thorough process of licensing, inspections, monitoring, and investigations aimed at protecting consumer interests and ensuring the integrity of gaming operations.
