Overview:Openwork is actively seeking a Multicraft Maintenance Technician in Houston, TX. This role is crucial for maintaining and optimizing advanced equipment and facilities, ensuring operational efficiency and contributing to company success. The position offers training during the AM shift with flexibility for other shifts, including overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive and execute directives from supervisors, working closely with the Production Manager to minimize production disruptions.
  • Conduct comprehensive inspections of plant equipment to strategize effective repair approaches that prioritize efficiency and safety.
  • Perform mechanical tasks such as dismantling, cleaning, repairing, assembling, aligning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a 2-year associate degree program preferred.
  • Vocational training in mathematics, geometry, blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, metalworking, drafting, and safety practices.
  • Preferred: 5-7 years of relevant industrial experience.
