Engaging Families at the Intersections of Their Lives, strengthening their social, emotional, spiritual and mental health well-being through programs that cultivate a culture of diversity, fairness, inclusion, acceptance and resilience. Our Purpose:Pipeline is organized exclusively for charitable, faith-based and educational purposes that bridge the gap and more closely connect the community with its participants, empowering them towards independence and a self-sufficiency that promotes their health, happiness and financial stability in society.   Pipeline to God’s Board of Directors is growing. We are reaching into our community looking for board members who are relationship builders.  They will share the importance of Pipeline’s mission and vision for mental health along with other concerns:    
Desired Skills & Experience:
  • Exemplify a passion for outreach and engagement to develop community relationships and partnerships 
  • Aggressively work to engage, coordinate and support community partnerships, outreach, and other initiatives.
  • Connect stakeholders in the grass roots communities, including faith-based organizations, the healthcare community to better coordinate and support community partnerships 
  • Review and offer feedback on Pipeline’s current ways for promoting community outreach and engagement.
  • Investigate trends and best practices regarding community outreach and engagement.
  • Engage in advocacy and networking  on how Pipeline can successfully sustain community interest and engagement in Mental Health.
  • Identify new strategies and resources that will help foster and promote a positive and productive relationships with community members.
 
Board Member Roles & Responsibilities:
As the governing body of Pipeline to God, the board is responsible for:
  • Determining the mission and purpose of the organization 
  • Supporting and evaluating the performance of the Executive Director
  • Organizational strategic planning and oversight
  • Ensuring strong financial management and fiduciary oversight, minimizing risks for the organization
  • Supporting fundraising efforts and resource development
  • Serving as an ambassador for the organization, enhancing the organization’s public image
  • Ensuring the legal and ethical integrity of the organization
 Individual board member expectations:
  • Attend all regularly scheduled and special board meetings and actively participate in proceedings.
  • Actively serve and contribute on at least one board committee
  • Make a meaningful financial contribution to the organization according to individual means.
  • Solicit various forms of support and resources for the organization
  • Share resources and talents with the organization including expertise, contacts, and ideas
  • Maintain and promote high ethical standards including good-faith board decision making and avoid actual or perceived conflicts of interest with other activities, interests, and/or organizations
  • Uphold the legal duties and laws regarding nonprofit governance

Desired Skills & Experience:
Ideal Pipeline to God board members:Passionate about the mission of Pipeline to God
  • Lives in Northeast Ohio (preferred)
  • Willing to share professional and personal experiences for the benefit of Pipeline to God
  • Can commit at least 3-6 hours per month to the organization 
  • Able to donate or raise a meaningful annual contribution to the organization
  • Communicative and engaged
  • Ability to serve at least one full 2-year term as a board member
