Position Overview:We are seeking an experienced Quotations Manager to oversee and manage the workflow, processes, and team responsible for pricing requests and estimates across our entire product portfolio. This role will play a critical part in improving customer and agent experiences by developing automated CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tools, enhancing customer portals, and streamlining internal operations. Extensive experience with Salesforce is mandatory, with advanced certifications highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Quotations Management: • Manage the lifecycle of pricing and quotation requests, ensuring accurate, timely, and competitive responses for lighting fixtures and components. • Handle escalations for complex or high-value pricing inquiries and provide expert guidance on pricing strategies. • Drive continuous improvements to ensure the quotations process supports business growth and customer satisfaction. 2. Workflow Optimization: • Develop and implement automated CPQ tools to enhance efficiency and accuracy in pricing and quotation processes. • Leverage Salesforce to manage workflows, track performance metrics, and support integration of new technologies. • Collaborate with other functions to design and implement agent and customer portals, improving the self-service experience. 3. Team Leadership: • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of quotations specialists to achieve high levels of performance and customer satisfaction. • Provide training on advanced Salesforce tools, pricing methodologies, and customer engagement best practices. • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Work closely with sales, operations, engineering, and IT teams to ensure alignment on pricing, product details, and workflow enhancements. • Partner with product development and marketing teams to incorporate new product features and updates into the CPQ system. • Collaborate with stakeholders to design user-friendly portals for agents and customers, driving engagement and streamlining workflows. 5. Salesforce Management: • Manage and optimize Salesforce as the central platform for pricing and quotations. • Lead the development and deployment of Salesforce enhancements, including CPQ and portal integration. • Ensure data accuracy and provide actionable insights through customized Salesforce reports and dashboards. 6. Customer Experience Enhancement: • Drive initiatives to improve the end-to-end customer experience, from pricing inquiries to final quotations. • Leverage technology to simplify and enhance interactions with agents and customers. • Monitor feedback and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, operations, engineering, or a related field. • 5+ years of experience in quotations management, pricing, or sales operations, ideally in a technical or manufacturing environment. • Extensive experience with Salesforce, including advanced certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, CPQ Specialist, Sales Cloud Consultant). • Proven experience developing and deploying CPQ tools and customer/agent portals. • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and influence cross-functional stakeholders. • Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend actionable solutions.
Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in the lighting, electronics, or manufacturing industries. • Familiarity with engineering workflows and technical product configurations. • Expertise in Salesforce CPQ and customer experience optimization tools.
