This position has played an important role in Master Halco’s nationwide success providing excellent customer service for nearly 60 years.  Inside Sales Associates work as a tight-knit team within the branches to service fence contractors and retailers by selling fence products. This is a very exciting time to join our company. Responsibilities:
  • Discovery conversations with existing customers and prospective customers to identify products and services that Master Halco can provide to grow their business.
  • Calls current customers, by phone, to generate orders for delivery on scheduled delivery routes and to inform customers of specials and sales promotions.
  • Partner with outside sales team to expand products and customer base. 
  • Collects market intelligence from customers regarding competitive situations, competitor pricing, market situations, etc. and informs Branch Manager.
  • Take inbound phone calls and emails from contractors and retail customers to process quotes and orders in a timely manner. 
  • Consult with clients/customers after sales to provide ongoing support.
  • Prepares job order quotations based on customer requests and information 
  • Communicate by phone or email with customers from the time of order to the time of shipment.
  • Work as a team with other sales and operations people to hit sales goals and earn bonuses and spiffs.

Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience
  • Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Computer literate and proficient in MS applications 
  • 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably in building products or DIY
