CLINICAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
  • Position: Speech-language Pathologist - PRN
  • Reports to: VP of Clinical Services
  • Employment Term: PRN Employment

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: 
  • Degree in Speech and Language Pathology
  • Active State license required in good standing

REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Knowledge of Speech Therapy theory, procedures, practices, and equipment.
  • Good communication skills. A proactive, positive approach to problem-solving.
  • Thorough knowledge of possible hazards/necessary precautions/remedial measures in the treatment and care of clients.
  • Ability to assess and implement treatment programs for simple and complex therapy diagnoses.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Fully adhere to the Loveland Center's Code of Ethics and Core Values.
  • Perform evaluations to identify therapy needs and develop specific treatment programs based on those needs
  • Communicate the speech therapy POC with clients, their families, and other clinicians
  • Practices efficient use and selection of supplies and equipment
  • Demonstrates an awareness of legal issues, patient rights, and compliance with regulatory and accrediting agencies
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills; ability to read/comprehend written instructions; ability to follow verbal instructions
