Iron Health is a privately owned Physical Therapy and Wellness practice four locations in Westchester, NY (Briarcliff Manor, Ardsley, and Peekskill) and Stamford, CT Our company was founded on the values of providing quality one-on-one care through exercise focused recovery combined with manual approaches. Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ensure that patients achieve their clinical and health/lifestyle goals.

  • Ensure that the patient is excited and comfortable about coming for physical therapy, and that they remain committed to the treatment plan that you prescribe.
  • Perform, implement, and complete documentation for all clinical notes according to company standard.
  • Provide a high level of customer care that will have patients wanting to come back frequently and tell their friends and family about Iron Health.
  • Communicate the value of our service, along with the fee/price that the patient will be responsible for to access it.
  • Ensure that patients agree to a plan of care that will help them hit their health/fitness goals.
  • Participate in, contribute to, and help to develop the in-house educational training program that is provided to all physical therapists

Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy
  • 3+ years experience preferred
  • Strong orthopedic foundation
  • NYS and/or CT PT license

Skills Needed:
  • Communicate with patients in a way that they can see value in the plan of care being developed for them
  • Willing and able to assess when a patient may not be compliant or fall-off the schedule
  • To be able to engage with and connect with patients at a personal level that goes way beyond a clinical outcome
  • Demonstrates an understanding of what the causes are -- and solutions -- that could lead to a patient dropping off schedule
  • Ability to thrive in an environment where measurement is the driving force behind progress
