About us:
PL8FCU is a small not-for-profit credit union valued at 40 million in assets serving members tied to various local unions including Longshore and Amtrack employees. PL8FCU offers a sense of community where staff know the membership on a first name basis, rather than as a number.

Technical Skills Required:
- Ability to build strong relationships with both staff and our members.
- Problem solving/ Analytical skills.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Financial Institution operating system (computer processing) skills.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on communicated urgency and deadlines.
- Multitasking skills.
General DescriptionThe Member Service Representative’s primary responsibility is to provide exceptional member service while efficiently performing a variety of financial transactions. The MSR will serve as the front-line representative, addressing inquiries, promoting credit union products and services, and ensuring overall member satisfaction.
This is a Full-time (40 hours per week), Hourly Non-Exempt
Portland Local 8 FCU strives to provide a rich pay/ benefits package which includes:
- Loan product discount.

- Incentive compensation-based pay based on role.
