The selected Computer Technicians will be responsible for assisting with projects in the Columbia, SC and North Carolina when needed. We are seeking IT professionals with the following skills & qualifications:
Monday thru Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Abilities:
- Preferred: CompTIA A+ Cert and/or an Associates/Bachelors in the computer field.
- Preferred: 2+ years of business professional experience as a computer technician.
Skill Sets or Tasks That Will Be Performed:
- Ability to follow directions and comprehend / follow a detailed work script.
- Ability To Pass a Comprehensive Background Check and Drug Screening Process
- Have Reliable Transportation
- Imaging, data migration, troubleshooting of computer systems.
- Naming a computer and joining a computer to a domain.
- Asset Tagging/Reporting
- Enrolling and provisioning Chromebooks.
- Connect computers correctly with different configurations.
- Wiring and / or Assembly of Chromebook or Mobile Charging Carts.
- Cable management.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. several times during a Workday.
- Able to stoop, bend and kneel repetitively during a Workday
- Work out of the Columbia, SC Config Center/Warehouse and surrounding areas.
- Work on Occasional Out of Town Projects in North Carolina
Start Date: ASAP - Temp 6-8 Months
Work Days: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
Location: Columbia, SC (Local candidates only)
REQUIRED To clear the following:
- NATIONAL CRIMINAL BACKGROUND B/G CHECK,
- DRUG SCREEN
- Good MVR record over last 3 years.
- Valid Drivers license and State minimum auto insurance.
ON-CUSTOMER SITE DRESS CODE:As an eBryIT-certified workers, you must adhere to the following professional standards during the performance of services for eBryIT:
- Attire must be clean and pressed.
- Acceptable attire includes a collared shirt (polo style or button-down shirt); khakis, Dockers or similarly styled pants, and hard soled shoes such as loafers.
- Unacceptable attire includes, but is not limited to, torn or soiled clothes of any kind, blue jeans (or denim-like material), T-shirts, sunglasses, hats, and tennis or jogging shoes.
- No visible body piercing or tattoos.
