Regional Account Executive

*This selected candidate must be located in Texas and will work a fully remote schedule. JOB OVERVIEW:The Regional Account Executive (RAE) assists prospects and clients with establishing new accounts. The Regional Account Executive (RAE) creates leads and opportunities by profiling prospects. Generates leads through various marketing channels, including but not limited to seminars, conferences, meet-up groups and other trade associations. Facilitates both phone and in-person meetings to close account opportunities.
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
  • Performs outbound and inbound phone calls to prospects who currently (or previously) had interest.
  • Attends and exhibits at various seminars, conferences, meet-up groups and other trade association meetings to generate leads and close opportunities.
  • Engages in public speaking with various business generating forums.
  • Conducts prospecting on referral sources such as but not limited to Financial Advising Firms, CPA Firms, Mastermind Businesses, Syndicates.
  • Reassures prospective clients who have questions to determine feasibility in opening an account.
  • Educates prospective clients on potential benefits and how self-directed IRAs work for various investment strategies.
  • Assists in completion of account open documentation.
  • Interfaces with onboarding team to ensure accounts are opened and funded efficiently.
  • Cross-sells applicable accounts (Roth, HSA, etc.) and products (GLS, Education, etc.)
  • Meets sales objectives and business results as established by Sales leadership.
  • Obtains and follows up with referrals.
  • Creates leads by inputting contact data into CRM.
  • Documents all interactions with leads, updates profile section of lead record as applicable.
  • Travels to event locations as required.
  • Interfaces with onboarding team to ensure accounts are opened and funded efficiently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
 QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent area of study a plus.
  • Minimum four (4) years of sales experience.
 PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
  • None required.
 TECHNICAL SKILLS:To be successful in this role, you should have experience with and an understanding of the following:
  • Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Office.

 PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to speak and hear. The associate is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time, as well as stand, walk, use hands and fingers, and reach with hands and arms. This job requires the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
