Senior Construction Coordinator

Stratham, United States Calm Water Business Partner, LLC Full time $70,000 - $90,000
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Coordinator for our growing multi-discipline consulting industrial engineering and construction management firm.  This position is primarily located in the office near Stratham, NH; however, some travel to remote construction sites with overnight stays will be required.  We are also seeking a junior level Construction Coordinator with the same general requirements serving in a lesser capacity, with one to five years of related work experience. 
Responsibilities: 
  • Responsible for coordinating construction effort on multiple small projects to ensure construction is performed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. 
  • Lead the estimating efforts for assigned projects and business development. Assist with development of bid packages for subcontractors. 
  • Assist with project accounting, cost tracking, and project cost forecasting. 
  • Interface with client representatives, engineers, subcontractors. Provide technical assistance, monitor subcontractors, review submittals. 
  • Maintain necessary licensing and training requirements.

Requirements:  
  • Must have thorough knowledge of construction technology, equipment and methods; proficiency with MS Office and other construction related software.  
  • Must have outstanding communication, interpersonal, planning, organization and supervisory skills. Industrial construction estimating experience is a plus.
  • BS in Engineering discipline or Construction Management or equivalent combination of training and related experience. 
  • Minimum of eight years of experience working as a project engineering, superintendent or construction coordinator or manager is required. 
  • MA Construction Supervisor’s license or the ability to acquire and maintain a MA construction supervisor’s license.
