Position Summary:
The Financial Analyst - Supply Chain acts as a key link between the Finance department and the internal logistics team, as well as with Lindt Sprngli North America (LSNA). This role is essential for providing operational and financial support. Key responsibilities include monitoring and forecasting operational costs, freight expenses, warehousing expenditures, warehouse efficiency, and inventory reconciliation. Additional duties encompass coordinating the budgeting process, conducting financial closings, performing variance analysis, generating reports, ensuring data integrity, enhancing procedures, and timely communication of issues to Senior Management.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Oversee the supply chain budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with LSNA and the local distribution team.
- Aggregate financial data, analyze outcomes, and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Distribute the monthly financial report tailored to business units and review critical financial metrics with management.
- Conduct ad hoc analyses on distribution costs and savings initiatives.
- Perform inventory reconciliations and reporting.
- Develop and maintain reports that deliver essential information to business units for informed decision-making.
- Ensure business visibility and understanding to support strategic management decisions.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes for assigned business units, conducting P&L variance analysis and completing necessary schedules.
- Publish monthly financial reports specific to business units and review key metrics with management.
- Execute monthly year-to-date and sensitivity analyses based on actual results and forecasts.
- Facilitate monthly cost center reviews with assigned business units to communicate year-to-date results and gather business insights.
- Create executive summaries and relevant reports for senior management, providing well-considered recommendations based on analysis.
- Engage in the development of business systems that enhance management tools for improved business oversight.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in financial accounting.
- Preferred 3 years of financial experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with both financial and non-financial business partners.
- Proactive and energetic approach to challenges; recognizes and seizes opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- MBA is preferred.
- Ability to partner effectively with both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Salary Range: $77,400 - $100,650

Starting compensation is determined by various factors, including job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
