Position Objective:
The Financial Analyst - Supply Chain acts as a crucial link between the Finance department and the internal logistics team, as well as Lindt Sprngli North America (LSNA), with the aim of delivering effective operational and financial support. Key responsibilities encompass forecasting and tracking operational costs, freight charges, warehousing expenses, warehouse efficiency, and inventory reconciliation. Additional duties include coordinating the budgeting process, executing financial closings, conducting variance analysis, reporting, ensuring data integrity, enhancing procedures, and communicating issues to Senior Management promptly.
This position operates in a hybrid model, requiring presence in our corporate office three days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Oversee the supply chain budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with LSNA and the local distribution team.
- Aggregate all financial data, analyze outcomes, and present findings to key stakeholders.
- Prepare and distribute the monthly financial package tailored to business units and review essential financial metrics with management.
- Conduct special analyses on distribution costs and savings initiatives.
- Perform and finalize inventory reconciliations and reporting.
- Develop and maintain reports that furnish assigned business units with critical information necessary for informed decision-making.
- Assume responsibility for ensuring business visibility and comprehension to support management's strategic decision-making process.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing activities for assigned business units, conducting P&L variance analysis and completing required schedules.
- Compile and publish the monthly financial package specific to business units and review key financial metrics with management.
- Conduct monthly reviews of cost centers with assigned business units to communicate year-to-date results and gather business insights.
- Create executive summaries and relevant reports for senior management, providing well-considered recommendations based on analysis.
- Actively engage in the development of business systems that enhance management's tools for effective business oversight.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of financial accounting experience required.
- At least 3 years of financial experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and reporting capabilities.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with and advise assigned business units to achieve desired outcomes.
- Proactive and energetic approach to challenges; recognizes and seizes opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting.
- MBA preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively partner with and advise both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
Salary Range: $77,400 - $100,650

Starting pay is determined using various factors, including job-related skills, knowledge, experience, and market conditions. A bonus and/or long-term incentive may be included as part of this compensation package.
