- Demonstration of knowledge, abilities, and skills to effectively manage the behaviors of children with behavioral challenges and the ability to collect, record, and use behavioral data
- Must demonstrate initiative and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Must have the ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time; see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; and the ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; May include frequent walking, standing, stooping, lifting up to approximately 25 pounds and occasional lifting of equipment and/or materials weighing up to approximately 40 pounds may be required.
- Caseload and details of position will differ based on school location - Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset
- Contract through the 2024/2025 school year – 35 to 40 hours per week
- Contract follows the academic district calendar
- Responsible for supporting the implementation of the behavioral plans for students.
- Participate in on-going training in highly specialized strategies and interventions for implementing individualized behavior plans under the direction of LCPS staff.
- Use training to take appropriate actions to deal with recurring behavioral situations with the supervision of the teacher.
- Performs related work as required.
- $28.00-30.00 per hour
