Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Behavioral Therapist to join our team at New Hope Health Co. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting language, behavioral, social, and daily living skills in a fun and play-oriented setting.

Your primary responsibility will be to implement individualized treatment programs designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and to record objective daily data to reflect client progress toward goals.

You will also be responsible for maintaining effective communication with team members and supervisors, and for working collaboratively with clients and their families to achieve positive outcomes.

We offer a competitive hourly compensation rate of $23.00-$28.00, plus performance-based pay increases, and a part-time schedule with evening shifts that allow for flexibility and work-life balance.

Additionally, we provide training that meets eligibility to become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), as well as mentorship for career growth and opportunities for advancement.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized treatment programs designed by BCBAs

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Availability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week Monday-Friday
  • Negative TB test
  • Must be able to lift 35 pounds and get up and down off the floor quickly
  • Coursework in psychology, child development, or social work is a plus
  • Clear Background Check

Work Location: Multiple Locations in Virginia

Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
