Outreach Sales Manager (FT)  Educators Rising, a division of PDK International is looking for a dynamic Outreach Sales Manager to manage accounts, create relationships, gain new leads, follow up on existing accounts, and increase communications efforts for our Educators Rising programs and curriculum. The Outreach Sales Manager position reports directly to the National Director of Outreach & Partnerships who will work with the Outreach Sales Coordinators to execute the goals of the department.  This is a 100% remote position. A laptop will be provided to you during onboarding. You are expected to be online during our business hours that align with the Eastern Time Zone. The Position:This is an exciting time for PDK’s Educators Rising program with growth from districts and states on our “grow your own” educator pathway initiatives, our commitment to diversity in education, and our efforts to inspire and support middle school, high school, and collegiate preservice candidates into education careers. We need someone as a hands-on leader with sales experience who will help us scale our impact in the education community. Primary Duties:
  •  Support the National Director of Outreach & Partnerships to meet or exceed revenue targets and KPI goals. 
  •  Oversee Outreach Coordinators and manage SOPs, team documents, and update streamlined processes.
  •  Build and maintain client profiles in a CRM, make outbound calls to contacts to secure curriculum sales, maintain excellent and consistent communication with clients, and provide excellent, timely customer service.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with state and district representatives through exceptional emotional intelligence and customer service skills. This includes engaging partners and delivering virtual or in-person meetings and presentations.
  •  Establish and grow a customer base of K12 districts and schools and maintain records in the lead funnel database. 
  • Employ effective consultative negotiation techniques including pre-call planning, effective opening, and productive questioning strategies that lead to a close.
  •  Stay abreast of the industry space through market and landscape analysis with an eye toward new opportunities. 
  •  Maintain expert product knowledge around the Educator's Rising resources/support, the education industry, and factors influencing the market environment. 
  • Travel to meet with partners, exhibit, and/or present at conferences. Travel is about 10% of this position. 
  • Other duties as assigned. 
 Qualifications Required:
  • 2+ years of B2B sales experience
  • 2+ years of CRM experience – preferably Hubspot or Salesforce.
  • Bachelor’s degree commensurate with work experience. 
  • Experience with the sales process and lead prospecting, acquisition, qualifying, and conversion. Includes experience with outbound calling approach and demonstrated ability to recognize underlying hesitations and overcome concerns.
  • Proven track record of excelling in a fast-paced work environment and managing time effectively.
  •  Confident, assertive, and goal-oriented.
  • Exceptional communicator – verbal and written.
  •  Exceptional emotional intelligence, compassion, and self-awareness combined with strength of conviction, and “steel” in the face of adversity. Oh, and humor, too. 
 Preferred: 
  • 2+ years sales experience in K12 education market.
  • Demonstrated understanding of school, district, and state education agency sales cycle, budget process, and purchasing process.
  • Familiarity with education policies, educational funding sources, and the funding challenges educators face
 Compensation Educators Rising is prepared to offer $75-80,000 as a base compensation for the role, depending on experience, as well as a competitive uncapped commission structure that can allow commissions to exceed the base salary with an anticipated annual salary of $90K to $100k including uncapped commission, bonuses, and base salary combined.
