Assistant Preschool Teacher

Essential Job Duties:

  • Facilitating age-appropriate learning for preschool-age children
  • Assisting in the cultivation of core skills, early childhood foundations, social skills and
  • Christian development of students
  • Ensuring that all students are supervised in a safe, nurturing, Christian environment
  • Promoting spiritual, physical, mental, and social/emotional development
  • Utilizing a Biblical worldview in the classroom
  • Working collaboratively with other teachers
  • Effectively implementing the curriculum in a way that is engaging
  • Supporting the individual development of each student
  • Maintaining appropriate classroom records
  • Displaying effective teaching, classroom management and organization skills
  • Being DCFS qualified for the position and remaining current on all required credentials
  • and certifications

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma
  • Must have at least a 2 year’s experience working with preschool-aged children
  • Must pass a background check
 Compensation:

  • $25k - $28k/year
