Position Summary:
Assists teacher in instructing preschool children and organizing the classroom based on developmentally appropriate practices. Assists with implementing curriculum, on-going assessment, observation, and child outcomes systems consistent with program policies and the Head Start Performance Standards. Works as a partner with families in the health and education of their children. Responsible for classroom daily required cleaning and daily food preparation.

Education Requirement:
Minimum: High School Diploma/GED- must be able to obtain Preschool CDA within two years of hire. Desired: Preschool CDA or Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education
Related Experience:
Minimum: Must be 18 years or older. One-year related experience preferred. Desired: Two years related experience

Expected Schedule: Monday - Friday, Hours: 8:00a-4:30p
Rate of Pay: Base: $15.21/hr CDA: $15.53/hr AA: $17.39/hr
Pre-Employment Requirements: Physical, TB Test, Background Check and Drug Screen
