Position Description Summary
  • Reports to Kiosk Supervisor and Athletic Director.
  • §Laundry and housekeeping for the athletic department. 
  • Communicates respectfully and clearly with management, staff, members and guests.
 Duties and Responsibilities
  • Loads and operates washer and dryer.
  • Folds and stores towels, and members workout clothing. 
  • Maintain cleanliness in and around the gym, locker rooms, tennis courts and pool areas. 
  • Takes linen inventory periodically and reports shortage.
  • Reports immediately to the Athletic Director any hazardous situation, maintenance issue, injuries and illnesses or other areas of concern.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
 Education and Training, Qualifications and Other Requirements
  • Some High School
  • Laundry or housekeeping experience preferred.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively and to read and understand instructions.
 Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations
  • Works within OSHA requirements and applicable Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDSs)
  • Safely and correctly operate all laundry equipment
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations
 Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Exposure to loud noise level, chemicals (e.g., bleach), dampness and high temperatures.
  • Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping and pulling.
  • Continuous standing and walking.
  •  Able to lift and move 40 pounds.

Pay: $15 per hour

Work Hours:
  • Full-time status, working 30-40 hours per week
  • Part-time status, working 20 - 29 hours per week.
