Industrial Maintenance Technician

- Schedule/Hours: Multiple shifts available
- Starting Pay: $29.50+/hour
Domino’s Pizza Supply Chain Center in West Columbia, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start their career in Industrial Maintenance and wants to work alongside a leadership team who is invested in their team’s career growth.
In this role, you will:
- Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, and install machinery, equipment, and electrical devices (such as transformers, relays, circuit breakers, starters, and safety and limit switches) both working alongside another technician, as well as working on your own.
- Solve different problems every day; we’re seeking someone who thrives on problem-solving and independent decision-making.
- Layout, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration and Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment and Programmable Logic Controllers.
- Repair and maintain boilers, water heaters, water conditioning equipment, and all water distribution systems.
- Identify safety issues with machines; document issues; develop an action plan to resolve concerns; follow up to ensure problems are resolved.
- Monitor machines to ensure all levels are within EPA, OSHA, and other government guidelines; develop an action plan to resolve issues if not; follow up to ensure problems are resolved.
- HS Diploma, and/or 2+ years of Technical School Training and/or 5 plus years related experience in distribution or manufacturing environment, and/or licensed journeyman of a skilled trade.
- Basic understanding of refrigeration, plumbing, welding, hydraulics and facility maintenance nice to have.
- Read and interpret mechanical diagrams and electrical schematics.
- EPA REFRIGERATION CERTIFICATION (Type II or Universal) Federal requirement – Team Leader or Maintenance Tech Servicing or Handling Refrigeration equipment nice to have.
