Event Sales and Coordinator

5Church Restaurants is seeking a talented Sales & Event Coordinator to join our award-winning restaurant group. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and executing events, as well as experience in sales and customer service. He or she will be a creative thinker with strong attention to detail, and will have great communications skins and ability to take initiative. The Sales and Events Coordinator will be responsible for generating new business through sales efforts, as well as coordinating all aspects of events from start to finish.

Join a team that offers growth opportunities with commitment to quality of life in a performance driven environment. A minimum of Two years experience required in a full service/high volume/ food and entertainment operation with Business financial awareness. 
Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance of company’s guidelines and specifications.
  • Must impact sales in a positive direction.
  • Determine sales goals
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Serve as our primary point of contact for large events and parties
  • Maintain BEO (banquet event order) paperwork for each booking
  • Collaborate with our chef on menu requests
  • Negotiate contracts and assist with accounts receivable
  • Work with the marketing team to develop promotional materials
  • Develop promotions or specialty packages to entice new customers

Event Sales Manager Requirements and Qualifications: 
  • A bachelor's degree in hospitality, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Event planning experience preferred
  • Sales experience in Full Service Restaurants and Catering
  • Organizational and communication skills
